§ 1 Basic Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between you and us as the provider (Oksana Milz) via the website www.shou-sugi-ban.at, unless otherwise agreed. Any conflicting terms and conditions of the customer are expressly rejected.

A consumer within the meaning of these provisions is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person, or a legally capable partnership, acting in the exercise of their independent commercial or professional activity when entering into a legal transaction.

§ 2 Formation of the Contract

Your request for a quotation is non-binding. We will provide you with a binding written offer (for example by email), which you may accept within five (5) days, unless another acceptance period is specified in the offer.

Order processing and the transmission of all information required in connection with the conclusion of the contract are carried out partly automatically by email. You are therefore responsible for ensuring that the email address you provide is correct, emails can be received without technical issues, and emails are not blocked by spam filters.

§ 3 Special Provisions Regarding Payment Methods

Payment via SOFORT / Sofortüberweisung. If you choose SOFORT (Instant Bank Transfer) as your payment method, payment processing is handled by: Sofort GmbH, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich, Germany.

SOFORT is part of the Klarna Group (Klarna Bank AB). To use this payment method, you must have an online banking account enabled for SOFORT payments. During checkout, you will be asked to authenticate yourself and confirm the payment instruction to SOFORT. Your bank account will be charged immediately after the order has been placed. § 4 Right of Retention and Retention of Title

You may exercise a right of retention only insofar as your claim arises from the same contractual relationship.
